I only have one to be honest: a new digital camera, perhaps a DSLR. My aging Olympus C750 has been through hell and back and is definitely showing its age. I'd also like to pick up an AlienBees lighting setup, but those are a bit expensive as well.

Nice - I was having a hard time coming up with a list, so I just started looking at what's on my desk that could use an upgrade. A 2nd monitor, surround sound speakers, a new keyboard, that sort of thing.

Doubt I'll get the monitor, though, :P.

I'm pretty well situated with tech stuff right now, but I did put a 2nd monitor on my wish list

The #1 on my personal list (I haven't told people I want this) is a 4GB DDR3 204-pin So-DIMM. My HP laptop has only one DIMM slot so I need a 4GB stick to max it out. Unfortunately the 4GB sticks are expensive, commanding about $200 right now. 2GB seems to be fine for the moment.

I also would not mind a 160GB G2 Intel SSD.

The next item I am likely to buy is the WaterField Designs Muzetto bag:

I just have to have it.

That laptop carrying case is hot Chaz. It looks a lot like Booq's vertical PowerSleeve.

It is so tempting to order it right now . . . but I need the funds for other things. It does not help that I got approved for yet another credit card. I need to block Newegg and all the other sites I like to shop at . . .

I just added this to my want list:

Mechanical . . .

I might look into new keyboard too. Even though I like the ergonomics of the logitech wave, the key action/tactile feedback is rather poor. Though I am undecided between another ergonomic keyboard or a mechanical. I am tempted by a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard with low profile keys.

I just bought a Hitachi HTS725050A9A364 for my 5310m notebook (500GB 7200RPM 16MB). It's a blazing fast drive; I have one in my 5310m at present, testing it for StorageReview.

I picked it up for - get this - $96 shipped from TD (http://tinyurl.com/yfmt5zn) but there's a $15 MIRC so it's actually $81 for the fastest notebook HDD on the market!
